About the Role

The Assistant Finance Manager oversees daily financial transactions, prepares reports, ensures compliance with accounting standards, and supports budgeting and audits for a horticulture export company.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, and reports
  • Process accounts payable and receivable
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations
  • Prepare VAT, withholding tax, and other statutory filings
  • Implement budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting procedures
  • Support external and internal audits
  • Maintain accurate documentation and filing systems
  • Reconcile stock and inventory monthly
  • Organize purchase orders from departments and vendors
  • Reconcile purchases with store records
  • Perform additional finance-related tasks as assigned
