About the Role

The Head of Programs leads strategy, design, and execution of multi-sector programs, ensuring alignment with mission, donor expectations, and national priorities. The role oversees implementation, quality assurance, MEAL, staff development, and partnership building to advance gender equality and socio‑economic empowerment in Ethiopia.

Responsibilities

• Develop program strategy aligned with mission and donor expectations
• Lead design of proposals, concept notes, and budgets
• Supervise program implementation and quality assurance
• Oversee MEAL systems and reporting
• Manage and mentor program staff
• Build partnerships with government, donors, NGOs, and community groups
• Ensure compliance with regulations and safeguard standards
