Supply And Procurement Manager

About the Role

Lead the procurement function for a coal sector company, developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for cost savings and quality improvement
• Conduct market research and spend analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities
• Manage end-to-end procurement process including RFQ/RFP, vendor evaluation, and contract negotiation
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements, company policies, and ethical standards
• Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and negotiate favourable terms
• Build and maintain long-term supplier relationships and manage SRM programs
• Monitor supplier performance using KPIs and address issues promptly
• Oversee inventory management to prevent stockouts and minimize carrying costs
• Collaborate with logistics, operations, and finance teams to streamline supply chain flow
• Lead, mentor, and manage the procurement team
