The Finance Officer will oversee all financial operations for World Vision Ethiopia’s grant projects, ensuring accurate record‑keeping, timely reporting to donors, and strict compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage petty cash and supplier payments in accordance with policy
- Track grant expenditures and monitor burn rates
- Prepare and submit donor financial reports on time
- Reconcile bank accounts and maintain accurate general ledger entries
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, donor regulations, and internal controls
- Support audit processes and prepare statutory tax filings
- Facilitate project startup and closeout financial procedures
- Coordinate with program teams on budget monitoring and forecasting
