The role supports field-level implementation of landscape restoration and livelihood projects by identifying degraded lands, registering beneficiaries, assisting with tree production and planting, collecting data, and mobilizing communities to adopt sustainable land management practices.
Responsibilities
- Identify and delineate degraded communal lands for restoration intervention
- Register vulnerable community groups for targeted livelihood interventions
- Support tree seedling production and transportation to plantation sites
- Assist in baseline and end line data collection and encoding
- Provide technical support for landscape restoration activities
- Conduct progress assessments and report gaps
- Mobilize community for SWC, fruit/tree plantation, silvicultural management, and FMNR practices
