About the Role

The role supports the Storekeeper in managing warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, documentation, and safe storage for food distribution programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage warehouse goods and properties, using receiving notes, issue slips and bin cards
• Handle receipt and issuance of commodities and materials
• Reconcile physical counts with bin and stock cards, reporting results to management
• Create a structured filing system and stamp supporting documents
• Maintain cleanliness and ventilation of warehouses and compound
• Orient porters on proper commodity stacking
• Inspect commodities before off-load during receiving and dispatch
