Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) Officer

About the Role

The GESI Officer will lead the mainstreaming of gender equality and social inclusion across all projects, develop policies and advocacy strategies, build staff capacity, and monitor implementation to ensure compliance with humanitarian standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure gender equality and social inclusion are mainstreamed in projects
• Develop and implement gender integration plans and action strategies
• Advocate for feminist policies and publish advocacy materials
• Build capacity through training, mentorship, and internship programs
• Monitor and report on GESI indicators and disaggregated data
• Promote safe workplaces free of sexual and gender-based violence
