The Maintenance Person ensures the eye clinic’s facilities remain safe, clean, and fully operational through routine inspections, preventive upkeep, and quick repairs of building components and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to clinic facilities
- Repair lighting fixtures, electrical outlets, plumbing fixtures, doors, locks, windows, cabinets
- Carry out basic carpentry, painting, patching, and drywall work
- Inspect facility for safety hazards and maintenance needs
- Assist with room setup or furniture relocation as required
- Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests and emergency situations
