About the Role

Provide specialized nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia in the Post‑Anesthesia Care Unit, ensuring safe transition, monitoring vital signs, managing pain, and coordinating discharge or transfer.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care in PACU
Monitor vital signs and recovery status
Administer analgesics, antiemetics, IV fluids
Maintain airway patency and provide oxygen therapy
Assess for post‑anesthesia complications
Document patient records accurately
Collaborate with surgical teams
Educate patients and families about recovery
