The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images while maintaining patient safety and collaborating closely with the medical team.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures per physician requests
- Operate X-ray, CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, Mammography and other modalities
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations
- Administer contrast media as needed
- Maintain accurate imaging records in RIS/PACS
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team
- Manage equipment maintenance and calibration
- Adhere to radiation safety and infection prevention protocols
