The Psychiatrist will diagnose, treat, and prevent mental disorders through assessments, therapy, medication management, and integrated care within Washington Healthcare PLC’s Addis Ababa facility.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans including psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy
- Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications
- Provide crisis intervention for acute emergencies
- Collaborate with allied health professionals
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings
- Educate patients, families, and staff
