The Orthopedic Surgeon will diagnose, treat and manage musculoskeletal disorders through both surgical and non‑surgical interventions, ensuring comprehensive patient care from pre‑operative assessment to post‑operative rehabilitation.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients with musculoskeletal conditions via history, physical exam and imaging
- Diagnose and manage orthopedic disorders including fractures, dislocations, degenerative joint diseases, sports injuries, and spinal disorders
- Perform surgeries such as fracture fixation, joint replacement, arthroscopy, and spine surgery
- Provide pre‑operative, intra‑operative and post‑operative care
- Coordinate rehabilitation plans with physiotherapists
- Manage orthopedic emergencies
- Maintain accurate surgical and medical records
- Collaborate with emergency physicians, physiotherapists and other specialists
- Participate in departmental meetings and quality assurance programs
- Educate patients and mentor junior staff
