The IT Security Manager develops, implements, and oversees Washington Healthcare PLC’s information security program, protecting patient data and hospital systems through governance, operations, risk management, incident response, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain information security strategy, policies, and procedures
- Establish and manage an ISMS
- Monitor security environment and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, email and web filtering
- Coordinate vulnerability assessments, penetration testing and remediation
- Lead incident response and maintain the Incident Response Plan
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure regulatory compliance
- Manage identity and access controls including MFA
- Develop and deliver security awareness training
- Oversee vendor security risk management
- Supervise IT Security staff and manage departmental budgets
