The Information Technology Manager leads Washington Healthcare PLC’s technology strategy, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives to ensure secure, efficient, and high-performing systems that support clinical, administrative, and financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement hospital IT strategy aligned with organizational goals
- Create IT policies, standards, procedures, and governance frameworks
- Prepare and manage annual IT budget and capital investment proposals
- Oversee planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure and services
- Manage enterprise applications such as HIS, EMR, ERP, payroll systems
- Ensure cybersecurity compliance, data protection, disaster recovery, and business continuity
- Lead IT helpdesk operations and maintain service level agreements
- Coordinate and lead IT projects, including upgrades and integrations
- Support internal and external audits and develop risk management frameworks
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate IT staff
- Prepare periodic performance reports for senior management
