The ENT Specialist diagnoses and treats ear, nose, throat and head‑neck disorders through clinical evaluation, surgery, and emergency care, while maintaining detailed records and collaborating with allied health professionals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive examinations of ear, nose, throat and head/neck structures
- Diagnose and manage conditions such as hearing loss, sinusitis, tonsillitis, voice disorders, dizziness and tumors
- Perform surgeries including tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, septoplasty, tympanoplasty, and endoscopic sinus surgery
- Provide emergency care for epistaxis, foreign body removal and airway obstruction
- Interpret audiograms and other diagnostic tests
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Collaborate with audiologists, speech therapists and other specialists
- Ensure proper use of ENT equipment
- Educate patients on conditions and prevention
