About the Role

The Circulating Nurse coordinates all perioperative nursing activities, ensuring patient safety, operating room efficiency, and seamless communication among the surgical team.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgery
• Prepare operating rooms and ensure equipment readiness
• Assist with patient positioning and skin preparation
• Maintain sterile environment and monitor compliance
• Serve as communication hub among surgical team members
• Manage surgical counts and specimen handling
• Document perioperative records accurately
• Collaborate on quality improvement initiatives
• Educate patients and families about perioperative care
