The Application Support Manager oversees the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of hospital business and clinical applications such as HIS, EMR, LIS, RIS, ERP, HRIS, ensuring they run efficiently and securely to support patient care and organizational performance.
Responsibilities
- Manage administration, maintenance and support of all hospital business and clinical applications
- Ensure continuous availability, reliability and optimal performance of enterprise applications
- Coordinate application upgrades, patches, configuration changes and new feature deployments
- Monitor application performance and proactively resolve system issues
- Maintain application documentation, configuration records and user manuals
- Lead the application support team in resolving incidents and service requests
- Provide second- and third-level technical support for complex application issues
- Participate in selection, implementation, testing and deployment of new software solutions
