About the Role

This internship offers graduate students a chance to work on UNDP’s regional governance and rule‑of‑law initiatives in Addis Ababa, supporting communication, research, data collection, and event organization while gaining hands‑on experience in policy development and program implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing communication materials for events, web articles, social media posts and media relations
  • Support research on development issues
  • Provide administrative support including media clipping and record keeping
  • Collect data and conduct literature reviews on topics such as business and human rights, transitional justice, people‑centred justice, electoral integrity and civic engagement
  • Document good practices and lessons learned from African countries
  • Prepare summaries of key events, expert roundtables or missions
  • Help organize technical workshops, regional consultations and governance dialogues
