About the Role

The Woreda Officer will be a field-based staff member responsible for implementing community mobilization activities, facilitating civic education, and ensuring the delivery of project outcomes related to gender equality and human rights in Itang Special Woreda.

Responsibilities

  • Mobilize target groups and lead community meetings, trainings, and dialogues on rights and inclusion
  • Implement project activities, support beneficiary selection, and organize leadership training and community-service provider meetings
  • Build relationships with local authorities, represent the project at meetings, and coordinate with other NGOs
  • Collect data, prepare reports, document lessons learned, and assist in project monitoring
  • Ensure gender equality, safe participation for all, and adherence to security guidelines
