About the Role

The Branch Manager I is responsible for overseeing all branch operations, driving business performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, direct and control branch activities
  • Lead and supervise staff to deliver efficient service
  • Achieve business targets including deposits, loans and profitability
  • Promote products and services to customers
  • Maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Monitor performance and implement productivity strategies
  • Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements
  • Approve transactions within authority limits
  • Support credit administration and loan portfolio quality
  • Manage cash and safeguard assets
  • Prepare operational and financial reports
  • Resolve customer complaints
  • Identify growth opportunities
  • Conduct staff evaluations and provide coaching
  • Implement internal controls and audit recommendations
  • Represent the bank in community engagements
