The Project Focal Person is the primary field-based representative for TIMRAN’s VOICE+ project, responsible for implementing, monitoring, and reporting on civic engagement, peacebuilding, and human rights activities in Afar or Benishangul‑Gumuz regions.
Responsibilities
- Plan and facilitate VOICE+ activities at regional and community levels
- Organize multi-stakeholder dialogues with women, youth, PWDs, and local authorities
- Mobilize emerging CSOs/CBOs for capacity building and sub‑grant support
- Coordinate digital peace messaging and storytelling initiatives
- Maintain accurate MEAL data and prepare timely reports
- Manage logistics, procurement, and per diem in line with financial procedures
- Build relationships with community leaders, government officials, and security actors
- Monitor local security and social context to inform program adjustments
