About the Role

Lead and manage all technical and managerial aspects of WASH interventions across Tigray, Amhara, and Oromia, ensuring quality design, implementation, M&E, and donor reporting while building local capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership in WASH design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation across regions
  • Coordinate overall WASH programming with project staff and regional teams
  • Build capacity of staff and partners on WASH activities
  • Lead emergency WASH responses and ensure quality standards
  • Prepare procurement plans, budgets and activity schedules
  • Supervise field implementation and provide technical support
  • Compile timely reports for donors and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with Sphere standards, donor regulations and host government requirements
  • Integrate gender, environmental sustainability and other cross‑cutting issues into programs
  • Facilitate coordination within national WASH clusters and with external partners
