The Associate Director of Programs will lead strategic communication, proposal development, and project management for two flagship education initiatives in Ethiopia, ensuring program excellence and scalability while coordinating with government systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality presentations and briefing materials for donors and stakeholders
- Prepare communication materials for staff meetings, government reviews, workshops, and initiatives
- Draft, edit, and update program reports and synthesis documents
- Present performance data and learning outcomes in clear formats
- Support proposal development with accurate narratives, scale assumptions, and budget alignment
- Develop scenario-based scale plans and cost models
- Translate operational assumptions into structured budgeting frameworks
- Maintain implementation documentation including timelines and reach figures
- Lead continuous improvement of project management systems and infrastructure
- Maintain RASCI matrices, workplans, milestone trackers, and schedules
- Support SharePoint administration and document management
- Identify coordination challenges and propose practical operational improvements
