The Communication and Advocacy Officer designs, implements, and manages The Hunger Project Ethiopia’s communication strategy to increase visibility, promote programs, and engage stakeholders across media, government, donors, and the public.
Responsibilities
- Develop communication materials such as press releases, blog posts and social media content
- Manage the organization website and social media accounts
- Respond to media inquiries and conduct outreach
- Create advocacy products including briefing notes, brochures and reports
- Coordinate with program teams for strategic communications
- Facilitate workshops, dialogues and meetings
- Maintain technical resources for meetings
- Ensure quality documentation of project activities
