The Manager – Quality Control leads the quality assurance function at an automotive assembly plant, ensuring product integrity, compliance with OEM and ISO/TS standards, and customer satisfaction through defect prevention, audit readiness, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Establish and enforce quality standards across assembly lines
- Supervise in-process and final inspections
- Ensure compliance with OEM specifications and safety norms
- Identify deviations and implement CAPA actions
- Conduct root cause analysis for defect elimination
- Manage Vehicle TAT compliance
- Maintain audit-ready documentation
- Liaise with external auditors
- Lead and train quality inspectors
- Drive Six Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen initiatives
