About the Role

The Manager – Litigation develops and implements litigation strategies, oversees case management across subsidiaries, engages external counsel, and seeks alternative dispute resolution to minimize legal risks.

Responsibilities

  • Develop litigation strategies with senior management and external counsel
  • Oversee ongoing civil, commercial, labor, and regulatory cases across subsidiaries
  • Maintain a centralized database of all case information
  • Track timelines, deadlines, and court compliance
  • Engage and manage law firms in various jurisdictions
  • Review legal opinions and pleadings prepared by counsel
  • Negotiate legal fees and monitor lawyer performance
  • Provide litigation support to subsidiary teams
  • Consolidate data for group-level oversight
  • Ensure proper filing of complaints, petitions, affidavits, and evidence
  • Explore ADR methods such as arbitration and mediation
  • Recommend settlement strategies when commercially viable
  • Reduce litigation exposure through proactive dispute resolution
