The Manager – Key Accounts is responsible for reviewing and standardizing contracts, managing key account relationships, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance, and tracking performance metrics to protect the company’s interests.
Responsibilities
- Examine procurement, vendor, service, and project contracts for accuracy and completeness
- Identify risks, ambiguities, and unfavorable clauses in contracts
- Ensure alignment with group-wide procurement and legal standards
- Highlight potential financial, operational, and legal risks
- Recommend revisions to safeguard company interests
- Include protective clauses such as indemnity, warranties, penalties, dispute resolution
- Standardize contract templates and clauses across subsidiaries
- Consolidate subsidiary contract data for group-level oversight
- Ensure compliance with local laws and corporate policies
- Provide inputs during supplier negotiations and framework agreements
- Maintain a centralized repository of vetted contracts
- Track KPIs such as contract turnaround time, compliance rate, and risk reduction
