Audit Manager – Manufacturing

About the Role

Lead manufacturing audits to ensure regulatory compliance, internal controls, and operational efficiency, providing actionable recommendations to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement audit plans for manufacturing units
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal controls
• Identify operational, financial, and compliance risks across production, procurement, and supply chain
• Recommend corrective actions and preventive measures
• Monitor fraud detection mechanisms and strengthen anti-fraud controls
• Audit manufacturing processes including procurement, materials management, QA, production, logistics
• Evaluate cost monitoring systems, wastage control, and resource utilization
• Review accuracy of financial statements, cost sheets, and inventory valuation
• Audit payroll, compensation, and statutory deductions for compliance
• Prepare detailed audit reports with actionable insights for senior management and the Board
