Procurement and Logistics Officer

About the Role

The Procurement and Logistics Officer will manage sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of goods while overseeing inventory and ensuring compliance with company policies. The role supports efficient procurement cycles and logistics operations within a tech-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review purchase requests from departments
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and compare prices, quality, and delivery terms
• Prepare purchase orders and follow up until goods or services are delivered
• Identify and evaluate new suppliers
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers and negotiate competitive prices
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures
• Keep accurate procurement records and documentation
• Assist in preparing procurement plans and reports
• Coordinate the transportation and delivery of goods
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment
• Support warehouse and store operations
• Ensure all logistics documents are complete and properly filed
• Work closely with suppliers, transport providers, and internal departments to resolve delivery issues
• Prepare weekly and monthly procurement and logistics reports
• Maintain supplier and procurement databases
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and applicable regulations
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation
• Perform other duties assigned by the Procurement and Logistics Manager
