The role provides strategic leadership over all procurement, logistics, fleet, asset, inventory, and contract functions to support timely and cost‑effective implementation of humanitarian and development programmes in Ethiopia.
Responsibilities
- Lead procurement planning for office and field operations
- Manage complete procurement cycle including tendering and contract award
- Maintain supplier database and negotiate contracts
- Coordinate logistics, fleet management, and inventory control
- Ensure compliance with donor regulations and internal policies
- Prepare procurement and logistics reports for donors
- Support financial budgeting and cost monitoring
- Conduct audits and partner capacity strengthening
- Supervise and mentor staff
- Promote continuous improvement and ethical practices
