About the Role

The role involves managing all human resource administration functions—including personnel files, recruitment coordination, attendance monitoring, and payroll support—while ensuring compliance with Ethiopian labour laws in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update employee personnel files in hard‑copy and electronic formats
  • Address employee administrative requests per policies
  • Coordinate recruitment, selection, hiring, and orientation processes
  • Monitor probationary employees and prepare evaluation forms
  • Administer pension registration and related documentation
  • Prepare employment certificates and other HR correspondence
  • Manage attendance system, record schedules, leave, and violations
  • Generate weekly and monthly attendance reports
  • Process overtime requests with Finance
  • Handle interview, training, and HR communications
  • Coordinate performance evaluation and maintain appraisal records
  • Use HR ERP to enter, update, and generate employee data
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
