The role leads gender, youth, and safeguarding initiatives within the Sidama Cluster, overseeing planning, implementation, capacity building, monitoring, and stakeholder engagement to ensure inclusive development outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage gender, youth, and safeguarding activities within the Sidama Cluster;
- Collaborate with cluster officers and stakeholders to ensure quality program delivery;
- Prepare annual implementation plans and produce timely reports;
- Build capacity of team members on gender and safeguarding principles;
- Coordinate awareness raising, training, and coaching activities;
- Ensure adherence to safeguarding policies and manage incident reporting;
- Engage youth and vulnerable groups in apiculture value chains;
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders and promote multi-stakeholder platforms;
- Monitor program accountability mechanisms.
