Youth Care and Development Officer

About the Role

The Youth Care and Development Officer guides adolescents in SOS Children’s Villages toward independence by coordinating education, psychosocial support, safeguarding practices, and community integration to foster self-sufficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support individual development planning (IDP) for young people
• Provide psycho-social support and mental health training
• Coordinate educational, recreational and career counseling activities
• Ensure safeguarding policies are implemented and monitored
• Manage administrative duties and maintain programme database
