A consultant will deliver turnkey solar PV hybrid systems with battery storage for 11 schools in Tigray, Ethiopia, covering at least 90% of primary and 84% of secondary school energy demand. The role includes design, procurement, installation, grid integration, training, and ongoing maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Design and engineer solar PV hybrid systems for 11 schools
- Supply all equipment including modules, batteries, inverters and balance‑of‑system components
- Install, test and commission the systems at each site
- Integrate with existing grid connections where available
- Provide training to school staff on operation and monitoring
- Maintain the systems over a defined O&M period
- Prepare as-built documentation, warranties and performance reports
