The Senior Accountant will oversee all accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with Ethiopian tax regulations, effective cash flow management, and robust budgeting for the company.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with Ethiopian tax laws and statutory requirements
- Manage cash flow and maintain banking relationships
- Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts
- Review procurement documents and payment requests
- Coordinate internal and external audit activities
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor accounts payable/receivable
- Prepare payroll and support monthly closing
- Manage project and contract accounting
- Monitor budget utilization and support control processes
