Provide operative support as a Scrub Nurse in the operating room, ensuring sterile technique, instrument management, and effective teamwork during surgeries.
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures by scrubbing in and handling instruments and supplies
- Maintain a sterile field by following established protocols
- Communicate effectively with the surgical team to ensure smooth procedural flow
- Anticipate the needs of surgeons and provide instruments and supplies as required
- Assist with counting and checking instruments before and after procedures
- Prepare and maintain the operating room by setting up equipment and supplies
- Clean and sterilize instruments according to established procedures
- Perform other related duties as assigned
