About the Role

The Senior Fleet Officer will manage and coordinate the bank’s fleet operations to ensure efficient usage, proper maintenance, compliance with regulations, and support for business activities.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily fleet operations
  • Ensure efficient vehicle utilization to meet operational requirements
  • Monitor vehicle movements and maintain accurate records
  • Optimize deployment to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime
  • Develop preventive maintenance schedules for all vehicles
  • Coordinate servicing, repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities
  • Maintain maintenance histories and service records
  • Monitor fuel consumption and analyze efficiency trends
  • Implement measures to control fuel usage and reduce costs
  • Ensure valid registrations, licenses, insurance, and inspection certificates
  • Maintain updated fleet documentation and compliance with regulations
  • Coordinate driver training on road safety and defensive driving
  • Investigate vehicle accidents and recommend corrective actions
  • Promote a strong safety culture
  • Prepare periodic performance, utilization, maintenance, and cost reports
