About the Role

The Senior Accountant supports the bank’s accounting and reconciliation functions, ensuring accurate financial records, timely settlements, and compliance with banking regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day accounting and reconciliation for the Accounts and Reconciliations Division
• Reconcile digital transaction records between core banking system and digital channels
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in bank accounts and settlements
• Prepare provisions for suspense accounts per NBE directives
• Maintain books, taxation records and financial documentation
• Assist in preparing consolidated financial reports and tax filings
• Coordinate accounting tasks within the division
