The District Operation Manager oversees comprehensive operations at Gode branches, ensuring efficient financial processes, compliance with security protocols, and continuous improvement of staff capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Supervise branch operations management activities including general ledger, cash, bulk transaction processing, archiving, and logistics
- Develop and coordinate annual/quarterly/monthly operational plans for the branch team
- Maintain standard operational service delivery times at branches
- Ensure compliance with cash control and security requirements
- Identify quality gaps and report to the District Manager
- Follow up on new account transactions and timely settlement of suspense accounts
- Manage dual controls of branch vault keys
- Open memorandum accounts with issuing holding bank branches under Treasury approval
- Coordinate cash transfers with treasury department
- Implement periodic job rotation plans for branch operation staff
- Ensure accurate processing of all branch transactions through quarterly visits
- Review and consolidate branch budgets
- Follow up on audit report findings related to operational work
- Assess staff capacities and propose continuous education and training plans
