The Data Quality Officer ensures accurate, timely data capture across hub and spoke hospitals, supports staff training, conducts assessments, and analyzes data to inform improvements within the SLL360 program.
Responsibilities
- Support data collection at hub and spoke hospitals, ensuring accurate recording in EMR, registers, and logbooks
- Verify and cross-check patient records for L&D, NICU, and KMC units
- Enter and submit data daily to the Ministry of Health via electronic forms
- Facilitate on-site training for hospital staff on data use tools
- Conduct facility assessments and oversee baseline/midline/endline data collection
- Analyze trends and report findings to improve program outcomes
- Collaborate with QI teams and digital health initiatives
- Resolve data quality challenges in partnership with coordinators
