About the Role

The Finance Specialist supports the Senior Finance Manager in maintaining robust financial controls, compliance, and audit processes for a USD 50 million budget, ensuring accurate reporting and risk mitigation across Ethiopia.

Responsibilities

• Ensure financial controls and compliance across large budgets
• Reconcile VAT and withholding taxes, preparing schedules and filings
• Support statutory and external audits with documentation and recommendations
• Maintain monthly balance sheet accounts and reconciliations
• Coordinate prepayments and bank reconciliations
• Identify and mitigate fraud and corruption risks
• Engage stakeholders including banks, government offices, and internal teams
