About the Role

The Area Manager oversees Save the Children’s programs across Oromia and Sidama, managing field offices, budgets, and strategic initiatives while ensuring compliance, safeguarding, and effective stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple field offices and project teams
• Develop and implement area strategic plans and operational budgets
• Ensure compliance with policies on safeguarding, finance, and risk management
• Build partnerships with government, donors, and NGOs
• Oversee emergency preparedness and response activities
• Drive staff development and performance management
• Represent the organization in national and international forums
