Nutrition Coordinator

About the Role

The Nutrition Coordinator leads daily operations of Samaritan’s Purse’s nutrition program in Ethiopia, ensuring high-quality, culturally sensitive services aligned with national standards while managing teams, monitoring performance, and coordinating with partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise multidisciplinary nutrition teams
• Manage acute malnutrition programs (SAM/MAM) and IYCF interventions
• Ensure adherence to national CMAM protocols and food safety standards
• Coordinate with government, clusters, and partners for service delivery
• Maintain accurate documentation, data collection, and reporting
• Provide technical mentorship and training
• Oversee supply readiness and equipment maintenance
• Strengthen community-based nutrition activities and outreach
