About the Role

The Midwife delivers high-standard maternity care within Samaritan’s Purse programs, managing prenatal, delivery, and postnatal services while ensuring documentation, patient education, and emergency response in low-resource settings.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive midwifery care per national guidelines
Manage maternal, neonatal, and reproductive health conditions
Conduct antenatal, postnatal, and emergency consultations
Offer health education on pregnancy and newborn care
Document clinical data accurately
Collaborate with medical staff for referrals
Mentor other staff and disseminate protocols
