About the Role

The Midwife delivers essential maternal and neonatal care within Samaritan’s Purse programs, managing routine and emergency situations while ensuring high standards of documentation, teamwork, and culturally sensitive service.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive midwifery care in line with national guidelines
  • Manage obstetric and neonatal emergencies and ensure timely referral
  • Offer antenatal, postnatal, and reproductive health services
  • Conduct patient follow‑ups and health education
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and data collection
  • Support training and mentorship of other staff
  • Collaborate closely with medical and protection teams
