The Medical Warehouse Pharmacist Officer ensures safe storage, inventory management, and dispensing of medicines for IDP populations in Ethiopia, supporting the SP MMNU program and collaborating with health teams.
Responsibilities
- Maintain medicine storage per GDP and SP guidelines
- Manage inventory records and conduct monthly physical counts
- Dispense medications accurately and safely
- Monitor temperature/humidity and report issues
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness, pest control, and security
- Prepare weekly stock and environmental reports
- Support procurement planning and stock replenishment
- Provide training to pharmacy/health staff on prescriptions and supply chain
