The Medical Doctor & Team Lead oversees primary health services in Samaritan’s Purse MMNUs, delivering comprehensive care while managing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with medical and humanitarian standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality primary care to pediatric and adult patients
- Conduct patient consultations, order and interpret lab tests, prescribe medications
- Recognize emergencies and stabilize patients
- Perform wound care and minor procedures
- Deliver antenatal, postnatal, and neonatal services
- Maintain infection control standards
- Supervise MMU operations and staff
- Support program implementation and monitoring
- Provide training and mentorship to clinical teams
