About the Role

Finance Officer responsible for managing the organization’s financial health by overseeing budgeting, accounting procedures, audits, cash management, tax withholding, and banking relations while ensuring compliance with Samaritan’s Purse policies.

Responsibilities

  • Implement Samaritan’s Purse accounting systems and procedures
  • Prepare cash forecasts with program managers
  • Ensure accurate financial transactions and reconciliations
  • Process payments via cash, telebirr, cheque, and wire transfer
  • Manage cash advances and related receipts
  • Support internal and external audit activities
  • Maintain banking relationships and tax office compliance
  • Provide financial policy support to base staff
