The Area Coordinator manages all program operations within a specific region, overseeing logistics, finance, HR, security, and stakeholder relations to ensure effective implementation of Samaritan’s Purse projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate projects in assigned area
- Ensure compliance with Samaritan’s Purse systems and guidelines
- Oversee logistics, procurement, and financial processes
- Manage staffing, training, performance evaluation, and HR issues
- Serve as security focal person and manage risk assessments
- Prepare funding requests, budgets, and financial monitoring
- Build relationships with community leaders, government officials, UN agencies, and NGOs
- Represent the organization in meetings and maintain Christian witness
