About the Role

The Senior Accountant will manage accurate ledger entries, reconciliations, and reporting for M-PESA Finance operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and supporting vendor, payroll, and tax processes.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate journal entries and reconciliations in the General Ledger
  • Maintain daily ledger updates and monthly reconciliations with subsidiary ledgers
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and cost center reports
  • Manage vendor payments, invoice validation, and supplier communication
  • Oversee payroll GL reconciliation and tax declarations (VAT/WHT)
  • Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities
